The goal of this campaign and our partnership with Visit Lex was to leverage their existing social media presence and brand ambassadors to promote tourism for Lexington, KY. To increase awareness and target potential visitors, we outlined, shot and produced over 100 social segments to serve as vehicles to feature the city’s attractions. Each segment was designed to be “shareable”, concise and engaging, with the purpose of representing their four primary brand verticals; Equine, Dining, Bourbon and Local Craft Beer. To increase interest and relevance, each segment was paired with a quote or statistic intended to further entice the viewer to visit. The completed segments created an asset library for their social calendar, allowing them to strategically plan content releases based on their themed calendar and promote social engagement.
